These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MantaForge mobile application ("App") provided by Neritic Labs ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use MantaForge. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
- You must verify your email address to access the full App experience.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Subscription and Payments
3.1 Free Trial
New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of MantaForge Premium. During the trial, you have full access to all features. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends.
3.2 Subscription Pricing
- MantaForge Premium: £9.99 per month (or equivalent in your local currency).
- Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
- We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice.
3.3 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly through Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
3.4 Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play Store or Apple App Store in accordance with their refund policies.
- We do not offer direct refunds outside of the app store process.
4. AI-Generated Content
- MantaForge uses artificial intelligence (Groq LLM) to generate personalised workout and nutrition plans.
- AI-generated plans are suggestions based on the information you provide. They are not medical advice.
- You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions, injuries, or dietary requirements.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of AI-generated content for your specific circumstances.
- You use AI-generated workout and nutrition plans at your own risk.
5. Health and Fitness Disclaimer
MantaForge is not a medical service. The App provides fitness and nutrition information for general educational and motivational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Always consult your doctor before beginning any exercise programme.
- Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
- Nutritional information and meal plans are estimates and may not account for allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions.
- We are not responsible for any injuries, health issues, or adverse effects resulting from following workout or nutrition plans provided by the App.
6. Community Guidelines
When using the community features (feed, leaderboards, friend groups), you agree to:
- Not harass, bully, or intimidate other users.
- Not post offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content.
- Not attempt to identify or reveal the real identity of other anonymous users.
- Not manipulate leaderboard rankings through fraudulent activity.
- Not use the community features for spam, advertising, or promotion.
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines without notice.
7. Intellectual Property
- The MantaForge App, including its design, code, content, branding, and exercise library, is owned by Neritic Labs and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
- Exercise videos are sourced from YouTube and are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.
- Your user-generated content (meal logs, workout data) remains your property, but you grant us a licence to store and process it to provide the App's services.
8. Account Deletion
- You may permanently delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account.
- Account deletion removes all your personal data, workout history, nutrition logs, and community posts.
- Deletion is irreversible. We cannot recover deleted accounts or data.
- Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your app store before deleting your account.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- MantaForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Modifications to the Service
- We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time.
- We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.
- Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
